ok I have been working on b3 for about a month trying to get it to work with bf2.  I know b3 is only compatible with quake engines but all i need to do is get the module for the bf2 game.  I have it working up to the point where it asks for the module.  I found www:bf2ss on cpan but its not compiled and I dont know if it what i need anyway.  I would give money for a working module for bf2.  I am a gameserver provider and I have a lot of requests for this product on BF2 specifically and Project reality servers which are heavy to begin with.  I can not do it alone though like many coders i spent many hours trying and have not had any success because i dont understand what i am actually trying to do.  I sat in cpan last night and read code from Bakes for about 5 hours taking notes to see if i could crack the problem.  YOU ARE A HELL OF A CODER BTW and i am still lost i understand the code but not why it wont work with nonQuake engine games.    The main thing the people want is the stats xlrstats live stats and the b3 admin ability if there are programs that are already there and work excellent with games that are not quake let me know and I will quite hitting my head against the wall.  I will eventually figure it out.   I HOPE but I could sure use the help getting it working.   I have it working remotely and using a remote db and a different webserver so I have done quite a bit.  I can install it in any quake engine game quickly and easily.  I love the program

In short Please dont blow me off by saying "we aint doing it" tell me you will help me and give an old man a hand.  thank you

I'm not saying I will do it, but if I were to, I would need :
* an access to a dedicated server I can mess with
* a big fat log file from a production server (real data)
* any link you already found on how to administrate a bf2 server (rcon commands, cvar we can play with)
* any link you already found on how to mod bf2, existing code library that could be helpful

Good to ear.

B3 is very light. A small but big enough server to run a bf2 server instance + mysql with ssh access will do.

Please have bf2 set up and running as I've never had one myself and would like to focus on the B3 stuff and not BF2 stuff.

you can send info to courgette [at] ubu-team [dot] org
I'll share the info and access to the server with xlr8or as well.

BF2 uses bf2cc which sends commands to the server that runs on a different port then the server why they did that who knows lol

but if you have any questions just ask and I will walk you through it I need an email to send the info too
