No, I just had a customer comment that it wasn't working and thought it might be a known bug for BC2.

There are 3 different ban systems :
  • ban in B3 database
  • ban with punkbuster
  • ban with BC2 engine banList

From where is the banned player banned ?

I can only assume he did a !ban player name and when he did an !unban playername, it didn't work. I will ask him next time I see him online.

!unban works for me on MoH, so it 'should' work for bfbc2. However, if i can find the log, the last time I used it, there was a weird error. I was unbanning a player via client id, and when I hit enter, it said all players with the name, 'snake' for example, have been unbanned or cleared or whatever, instead of unbanning the specific player. I don't know if it's an error with using 1.4.1b, or I just hadn't noticed it before. I'll test again tonight and post the log.

Oh, I know I can unban in echelon, hell, we can unban in the phpmyadmin area too. But for ease of use, in-game is often quickest, why work around an issue when you can just have Devs fix it. =p
