When the last patch was released, I simply modified the parsers/bfbc2.py code to include the new map names(prefixes) and everything seemed to work fine.
Barring simple errors like case in the map name and path, after corrections BBB worked fine.

However, with the same method applied... adding map names/paths for the Vietnam maps... this did NOT work.
the rcon command admin.supportedMaps is not returning anything useful.... just OK.

So in this case, how far do we need to go into code for a change?  Has anyone looked into it yet?

Another admin system pushed an update, claims they were working with someone from DICE on protocol changes.  Has anyone looked to determine any changes?
I personally do not remember the blog location for bc2 rcon protocol files to check.  If someone wants to refresh my memory on the location of R26+ protocol docs, I'd be more than happy to dig into it.

Hi Tony, welcome here

As far as I know the protocol changes in R9 (build 615937) are :
* serverInfo response that now tells if the server is ranked, pb activated, password protected + server up time and round time
* player.onSpawn event data that changed a bit regarding the weapons and specializations used by the player

Nothing changed regarding the admin.supportedMaps command

Strange.  I haven't looked into it since yesterday (awaiting replies).

But what did happen, map changes we non-functional.  Adding the specific Vietnam maps to the code, nothing happened as nothing returned from the supportedMaps query.

Previously, when adding pack #7... adding map names & paths to easy/hard routines, the map changes functioned again.
However on Vietnam, nothing is returned on supportedMaps other than an OK reply, so the result becomes 'Invalid Map'.

I'll dig into it to see if maybe I'm missing something.
