I had been holding off in posting, in the belief that as soon as I make this post, the error will return.

Since applying the patch, there have been no B3-related problems.

That is great to hear.
It should be in the next release of B3 as I am sure 82nd will not let it escape this time.
He spent way too much time fixing this bug (which is quite rare).
