Hey,

i have a problem with the Echelon v.2.0b.1.

I permbaned a player with the command "!permban".

And now i want to deactivate this ban.

In Echelon under logs appears this info:

"The permanent ban (#1996) has been deactivated"

But he wasnt unban.

So, i have to login in gameservers.com, look at the ban.txt and delete this player manually?

I thought after a restart of the server, the permban will be deactivated without edit the ban.txt?

You have exactly the same problem I´ve ever had. The ban should be deleted on B3 database. I don´t know why, if a ban could be stored on B3 database from echelon, why not the deactivation of a ban on echelon is also deactivated on B3 database.

I'm pretty sure that you can only add bans to the COD7 bans.txt via rcon, you have to delete them via the web interface, so B3 cannot remove the ban from bans.txt either.

B3 and Echelon cannot be out of sync, since they use the same database

As bravo said, it is impossible to delete the ban from the gs control panel from echelon last I checked. It can be added with a rcon command, but not deleted. Limitation of CoD7.

If you only remove it from GS without unbanning, B3 will reban on next reconnect since B3 can maintain its own ban list. VERY helpful when our ban list got deleted, it got re-created by B3 without a issue.
