What does Echelon do to work out player Aliases on Urbanterror server ?

Is it simply just IP address or is it GUID or something else HuhHuhHuh

Well, it is suppose to work as follows - if it sees someone else with the same guid and a new name, alias. But, I do know there is a ipaliases table in b3 now, so it maybe factor in ips.

I also know the aliases part is buggy at times and has me with names I never used. Few topics about this, I can find them if you want.

Thanks MordyT .. I did try a search on Alias and Alias's etc and found nothing .. If you have the links would be good, however I know how much a pain it is doing someone else's Search work Smiley

Is there a fix for the alias issue with CoD4?  I continue to have this issue with the latest version of B3.

I don't think so. But then again I don't know. FWIW, I dumped all the aliases (truncated the table) a few months back (1.7 beta time) and I haven't been pegged with the wrong aliases since.
