Hey everyone,

I'm looking for a b3 server to go with my clan's urt server. We used to have a pretty cheap low-end server to run it, but we also ran several other things like our site, voice comms, ...  Recently I received a request from our members to start using b3 again since it was just way more fun and easy to admin the server. However nowadays we host our site on shared hosting (got a great deal for 1 year free pro hosting with 1 domain name ) and we got our server+vent from the gametracker plan.

So, to the point, we are looking for a cheap deal for a b3 server, we only need the remote service+mysql. An EU server would be preferred, since our gameserver is EU. Does anyone have some room for this on their server or do you know a cheap vps provider?

I know you had old ftptail working just fine, but if you come back in 1 or 2 weeks, there will be a pure-python implementation of ftptail, which should be more effective.

That should use less resources as well.

Yup despite some issues with gameservers.com (ftptail wouldn't work with ':' in the directory name, which is what they use for their setup, and changing the name resulted in random failure of ...well something, which required a remount of the drive on their part) we had it going quite well, but I had to drop it cuz I'm the only one paying for our server/site etc (and since I'm 17 I don't really have infinite amounts of money).

Now with the new deal we got from gametracker its only like 7€ for a 16-slot server+ventrilo, and some other members might add a bit so I'm looking for a good deal on a vps or something so we can set b3 up again since we really had some good times with some customized scripts and xlrstats was a very nice addon to our site.
