They do not block it, I currently host several servers with gameservers.com that run B3 on from a remote box using FTP.
Not yet, but remember that they can change it at any time, especially if they see a way to make money.  With their exclusivity, they make the rules, and if you don't like it, tough luck.

I don't feel that would be the reasoning. I think it would be more that they don't want to have to deal with all the users who don't know how to use it. It would put a lot of strain on the support staff.

That's why I created tutorials for my customers on my forums. Makes things easier. Smiley

People hardly ever read those most of the time anyway tho. I can completely understand why none of the devs give out any sort of personal contact information. I get enough random xfires asking me B3 questions myself, I don't even want to think about what the devs have to put up with.

It's not that bad actually as you need to have written a few posts on the forums to be allowed to PM. As such newcomers usually get their help from the forums
