Well, you are now able to pre-order MW3.
Despite us not having CONFIRMED Dedi servers (there was this one page with a quote about us having them, but it disappeared), I have no doubt that the game will be popular or that Dedi's will come, one way or the other.

Looking at the stats, between cod4, cod6, and cod7, one can see a cod8 parser would be a great addition to B3 family.

So, the only question is, what does the dev team need?

(And I answer)

1) Devs who will code a parser
2) A server to test on
3) Copies of the game to test with

(Did I miss anything?)

Provided that 2 and 3 are given (Yes, I am offering 3 copies of the game) do we have any devs who are willing to code the parser?

Yes I will work on it, if they provide dedicated servers (even semi-dedicated as in blops).

But can anyone explain exactly what is happening with MW3 and multiplayer??

TBH, no one knows at this time. I assume it is free, but only for basic play. CoD Elite will be the pay part.

Yes! Modern Warfare 3 on PC will support dedicated servers, day 1. You can fav or admin your own to control setup, rules, bans. #MW3 #PC

Anyway, just change the name of the parser from cod6.py (MW2) to cod8.py and you have the MW3 parser! It's not like it's a different game anyway... I just wonder when the folks at alterIW get the game, what they'll call it? alterIW3?

Supposedly, there will be public files.

And it might be best to base it off the cod4 parser, as 420 keeps saying it will be more like MW1 - chances are that parser is already ready if that is true.

Continuing their ticking off of everyone's shooter features wishlist, Infinity Ward's Robert Bowling confirmed that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 would indeed support LAN play, another feather in the shooter's cap, and a step-up from where the team left Modern Warfare 2 and many a disgruntled PC gamer.

"Yes, #MW3 has LAN along with detailed class restriction control + default class creation option," he said via a Tweet before adding in another, "Ability to restrict any weapon, equipment, perk, deathstreak, secondary, attachment, ANYTHING from being used when setting up game."

Say what you will, at least IW are trying to recapture the core PC audience with smart decisions.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is due to release November 8, and AusGamers will be getting hands-on with the multiplayer portion of the game sometime next week, so stay tuned for a detailed write-up in the not-too-distant future with our own thoughts on their latest MP offering.

It was just a joke. I was making fun of the COD series, being mods of COD 4.

So, have you guys been contacted regarding MW3? I don't see any topics talking about MW3 and B3. I assume it's going to be compatable. I don't suppose Activision has reached out to the community to help ensure good admin tools are ready for it, have they?
