hello, Im new to all of this stuff and I am using procon right now on my bc2 server and just ran across b3 bot and was wondering if there is much of a difference between the two? Also if Im running procon would it benefit me to run b3 or drop procon and just use b3? Thanks for any advice in advance!

I would just run one or the other, could be conflicts otherwise, I only used procon for a very short time so I dont know too much about it, but I know B3 works well across all my servers and different games, so the Plus side is one admin tool will cover all your servers and different games un like procon which is limited to the games it will work for!

right on, I have been using procon for a while and just now heard about b3 bot. The only difference between the two I can see is the amount of plugins procon has over b3, unless I looking in the wrong spot for plugins. I like the idea of both and sure they both work, so I guess now it comes down to what plugins does b3 have over procon?

At least you can use all global plugins and perhaps some of the cod series plugins:

I am new here and had this same question....

I run a BC2 server, and so far have not seen a B3 anti-base raping plugin, and that is an important plugin for us.

Questions please:

Does B3 intend to support Battlefield 3 ??

And I assume my admins interact with B3 in-game through in-game commands and not a GUI like Procon uses for its admins connecting to the Procon Layer server?

About base-rape - I don't know. Maybe someone else can chime in.

About BF3 - Yes. See: http://forum.bigbrotherbot.net/general-discussion/battlefield-3/

And yes, B3 is all about in game control.
