Ok, so here is the deal. I am not a master in configuring Game Servers, but I have a CoD4 server and recently added the promod mod.

Now promod by default does not log with logsync 2, so what you can do is edit the z_custom_ruleset.iwd and change the logsync to 2. The repack it and re-upload to the server.

The problem is I am not sure if it is even reading my changes. I also turned on killcam and changed number of sniper classes and it does not seem to care. I did some google research and it seems I need to execute the custom ruleset...

Help a n00b out so I can get B3 streaming (and other things) working. Do I need to execute the mod somehow? If so, how? Or can I not edit the log sync/promod at all?

The game btw is CoD4

If it helps, what I did was unzip the .iwd with winrar and then edited the .gsc with notepad++. I then rezipped (with windows) keeping the directory structure the same.

Figured this out. After modifying the .gsc, you need to do a /rcon promod_mode custom_public for changes to take effect.
