When I read that B3 had templates in use, I just had to check it out...
And so this morning I played around with the homefront one.
Let me just say... AWESOME...

Easy to use, should be easy to mod for my uses, but best of all, it can add plugins to a default install...

Thank you very much for this, may be the sole reason I switch back to the setup procedure.

I do have a suggestion though for templates:

For all the values (example rconpassword), there should be a field like "prompt=yes" in the template which would default, but we could change to no. This field, if set to no, would not even ask in the procedure.

Here is how it would help...

So I start the procedure, and it asks me the game, the mysql details (both these are different) then bot name, bot prefix, timezone. For the last three, I rather it didn't ask, just used the values in the template. Yes, I could just click enter twice, but... easier to just not ask (also make it more "idiot proof")
This would make it faster to do a setup.

Just a idea.

Also, how about running the value in the status plugin in the setup if you elect to?
