Hi,

The strange thing is I'am running the server as a Source Install. But when i type !aimgod nothing happens  Huh
Must I wait 300 sec? I can't find the setting aimgod. Must i add it by my self?
I just see that B3 is connected in-game & some rules...

What is the problem?

Ps.
I use the latest B3 (1.2.1) under Ubuntu Server.

Thanks!

Kind regards,
Melroy vd Berg

the !iamgod command works only once. If it succeeded before, then it is disabled.

type !leveltest to see if you are already recognized as a superadmin

My whole server is not responding at any kind of command incl. !leveltest. So I don't see anything?

What is the best way to disable iamgod, because there is no aimgod at default in any cfg file available (I run the latest B3 1.2.1)?

EDIT: Fixed aimgod to iamgod

firstly, it's !iamgod not !aimgod

Next, your logfile location is probably set incorrectly. Can you check that there is a file where it is pointed too, and that that file is the game logfile?

If yes, can you make sure that g_logsync is set to 2 in your server's config?

Sorry for the mistype, yes I mean !iamgod. Also not responding on !iamgod.

But yes, you got a good point here. I configure the server right (atleast I hope), take a look:
set g_logsync "2" //2 means Continuously
set logfile "1" //Enable
set g_log "games_mp.log"
set sv_log_damage "1"

Example:
logfile opened on Fri Dec  4 18:27:56 2009

Strange enough I don't see games_mp.log at all in the main directory. Maybe because of Linux right :S?

I thought I had fixed that by create that file by hand, and change this:

<set name="game_log">/home/*my_username*/cod4/games_mp.log</set>

You have to find out where your game server is writing the game log. There is no other way around.

should be in the 'main' directory of cod4, or the directory of the mod you are using (if you are using one).

I think i Found something:
http://www.inx-gaming.com/forum/no-server-logs-being-t8158/index.html

YES! Fixed
It was writing to a hidden map:
/home/*username*/.callofduty4/main
Both files console_mp.log & games_mp.log are located here...
Also the rights I need to set good first & "Show hidden files" enable.

File Handles:
handle 1: console_mp.log

THANK YOU SOOO MUCH!
I just didn't know that B3 was reading the log file to get the user input commands.
