Hello,

I'm unable to run a mod for my MW2 (alteriw) server.

Whenever i want to run the mod, my b3 stops working. I want to run iSnipe 3.
I've set the games_mp.log to the mods section but whenever i start my server + b3, it stops working.

How can i do it now?

Thank you.

Any logs? Are you sure that the mod is not changing something in games.log?

First of all, if something is not working with bbb, you HAVE to post what kind of errors do you receive. Also post b3.log. Otherwise chance for an answer is significantly lower.

I don't know much about CoD. But if you have BBB you should know that it relies on the log from the game. If BBB can't understand the log from the game (due to some modifications made to the server files), it won't work. I DON'T know if that's the issue, but you're the admin, you should be familiar with logs from game:)

Something strange happened. The bot could issue RCON commands at startup, but at one point you start to receive errors: "RCON: ERROR reading: error(10054, 'De externe host heeft een verbinding verbroken')", which suggest that either connection to your server was broken or the server doesn't exist (was shut down or something).

Again, I don't know much about CoD, but this is strange in console log: [    104693] Error: Client at 0.0.0.0 already has 980 pending reliable bytes of messages, unable to add another 70 bytes
and probably shouldn't happen.

At the games log some CoD admins should take a look.

Let me see if I understand this...
You start the game normally with B3. It works.
You then change the game mode to iSnipe without restarting B3 or the server. Then B3 doesn't work?

If so, no mystery there... EVEN if you edit the b3.xml to point to the new log, you still need to restart B3 for the changes to take effect.

EDIT: As for your rcon issue, you could always try the old trick of setting the rcon password directly in the console...

omg, MordyT, you might be right, I misunderstood the first post a bit. Changing the normal game to the mod could break bbb. However it still doesn't explain why BBB can issue rcon commands at the startup, and then suddenly it can't. It's like server cease to exist.

Mods can have their own cfgs - could be he doesn't have the same (or any) rcon password setup in the mods cfg...

If that's the case, then fix would be quick.

Valcorb, have you tried to first launch the game with the mod, and then BBB?

What we need is
Stop B3 and the server and clear all logs (games, b3.log, etc)
Start the server in mod mode
Start b3

Post the b3.log here and the b3.xml (after removing passwords)

Thanks!
