i am looking at a server provider that has B3 provided for COD2.  it asks for B3 with stats for 10$ or without stats for 5$.  does anyone know what that stats provide or if it is crucial to have the stats.  if it is just recording how well a player does per map it doesnt seem it is worth it...but if it records the players # and how often they have played as i am used to seeing it may be worth it, since you can then look up the players name and # if you needed to ban them or otherwise when they are not on the server.

Are you referring to XLRstats? You don't need XLRstats to see how often a player has connected, a basic B3 install can do that already using !clientinfo <playername/@id> connections
XLRstats calculates skill and counts kills/weaponstats/mapstats a.s.f.

What provider are you looking at?

It's probably not worth it tbh, xlrstats are very good, but I wouldn't put my business with a company that charged extra for them. You should probably look at cheaper servers, we have this thread: http://www.bigbrotherbot.com/forums/general-discussion/b3-hosts/ to show all of the servers, ranked by price.

thanks for the info...we were looking at the leagueservers.com.  however it turns out they dont charge you for B3 at all if you pay quarterly or semiannually.  it is only the 5 $ or 10$ with stats if you pay month to month.  so may be worth looking into since we could get it with or without stats for free.
