Okay well i am running two different bots to the same database that are running on two different servers. When i start to run the first bot it starts up just fine but when i launch the second one it fails to start.

So then i switched the bot and turned the one that wasn't working the first time on  first and it worked like a charm and now the other one will not work.

So obviously it is the fact that i am trying to connect both bots to the same SQL database while they are both running. So my question to you guys is, how in the world can i make this work? Is there some kind of work around for this so i can have them working on both of my servers? I really like the idea of me being able to go from server to server and still having the same rank/not having to move all my admins to their groups on 3+ servers. Not to mention having to do this every time i promote someone to admin.

Best regards, Jman

You should be able to run multiple bots on the same database. Please send your b3.log files showing that the bot has failed when you start the second bot.

Also please post what version of mysql you are using. I know in a newer version someone else had this issue.

I can't seem to find the topic, but here someone else had an identical problem.
It had to do with xlrstats locking the tables. In this post Courgette explained that the newer versions of B3 had to remove a db update function because of this issue

Can you post your b3.log please
