In admin.xml is this setting:
Code: xml
60

This means that level 60 and above can send a private message to themselves in console with the command. Other players will not see it, but the bot will execute the command.

The level needs to be set so that not all users can activate B3 through the console, but only higher level admins can. You don't want regulars and users to use this.

How to send private messages (/tell ...) depends on your gameclient and those messages must be logged in the gamelog.

xlr8or yes it is set as that

im using it for cod4
and im just trying to use stuff like !warn & !kick  but everybody can see what i type

and when you say console you mean by pressing the chat button ?  in cod4 you press T and that's what i have been using should i be using console to enter these commands ?
by pressing ¬(tidle) ?

It works like this:

1.) First you do !list and write down your own slotnumber. Let's say it's 5 (for the sake of this example)
2.) Then you open the console with the ~ key (tilde, or shift-tilde, whatever works to open the console)
3.) type ie.: /tell 5 !warn <playername> <reason>

That way you send a pm to yourself and the bot will execute the command, while others cannot see it.

This does not work in CoD4, I think. Doesn't work for me, at any rate.

Well, if CoD4 doesn't support sending private messages from players it all ends there...

yep, /tell is fine for servers, but not for clients. I think it was like that in cod2 as well, but I'm not sure.

Sorry this topic is a little old, but well.

I think its possible to use rcon itself to send private console messages to certain players.
Would it be possible to use console private messages and still be able to execute the commands?

nope, console pm's are not logged, so B3 won't respond to them
