I was about to test the latest version, but I get an error on the daily-build page.

Move it into a separate topic and made it sticky 8)
Anyway, to me the link works good. Are you sure you are accessing: http://files.cucurb.net/b3/daily/

If you want to test the source version, you need python installed on your system.
If you want to test, instead, the win32 version you need to download the appropriate package (the ones marked with win32). One is a simple unzip and run, the other (the .exe version) is an installer which will install B3 in your system.

Oops, downloaded the wrong one. :-X

The window popped up, I'm looking at it.

So I dragged a b3.xml into the window and it gives the following error: ''one of more problems have been detected in your configuration file''. If I click on 'show details' it will say ''missing admin plugin in your plugin section''. But I have checked the plugin list and the admin plugin is just there on place... ?

I found the problem, I'll push a new daily build in the next few minutes. Hold on.

EDIT: build is in progress. You will find updated packages within 5 minutes.

Now with version 413. according to the window, b3 seems to be running (green square with 'runnning' letters) but I see nothing of it in-game and no commands work in-game. Also, it gives no log file. I clicked on the log icon and on 'details' and it says 'missing C/users...... games_mp_log file' but everything in my settings is just the same...

Hmmm, can you try with this configuration file? (add back your passwords)

Code: [Select]
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

<configuration>
  <settings name="b3">
    <set name="bot_name">B3[SR8]</set>
    <set name="bot_prefix">^1[K^7U^4T]</set>

    <set name="time_zone">GMT</set>
    <set name="log_level">9</set>
    <set name="logfile">@b3/b3_27967.log</set>
    <set name="parser">iourt42</set>
    <set name="database">mysql://kut:[email protected]/b3sr8</set>
  </settings>
  <settings name="server">
    <set name="rcon_password">*****</set>
    <set name="port">27967</set>
    <set name="public_ip">217.26.96.248</set>
    <set name="rcon_ip">127.0.0.1</set>
    <set name="delay">0.33</set>
    <set name="lines_per_second">50</set>
    <set name="punkbuster">off</set>
    <set name="game_log">C:\Users\kutclan\Desktop\sr8 27967\q3ut4\games.log</set>
  </settings>
  <settings name="autodoc">

  </settings>
  <plugins>
    <plugin name="censorurt" config="@b3/extplugins/conf/plugin_censorurt.xml"/>
    <plugin name="admin" config="@conf/plugin_admin.xml"/>
    <plugin name="stats" config="@conf/plugin_stats.xml"/>
    <plugin name="adv" config="@conf/plugin_adv.xml"/>
    <plugin name="status" config="@conf/plugin_status.xml"/>
    <plugin name="welcome" config="@conf/plugin_welcome.xml"/>
    <plugin name="xlrstats" config="@b3/extplugins/conf/xlrstats.xml"/>
    <plugin name="topkiller" config="@b3/extplugins/conf/plugin_topkiller.xml"/>
    <plugin name="spree" config="@b3/extplugins/conf/plugin_spree.xml"/>
    <plugin name="poweradminurt" config="@conf/plugin_poweradminurt.ini" />
    <plugin name="forceteam" config="@b3/extplugins/conf/forceteam.xml"/>
    <plugin name="pingkicker" config="@b3/extplugins/conf/plugin_pingkicker.xml"/>
    <plugin name="ctime" config="@b3/extplugins/conf/plugin_ctime.xml"/>
    <plugin name="afk" config="@b3/extplugins/afk/conf/plugin_afk.ini"/>
    <plugin name="countryfilter" config="@b3/extplugins/conf/countryfilter.xml"/>
    <plugin name="tagprotect" config="@b3/extplugins/conf/tagprotect.xml"/>
 </plugins>
</configuration>

Also note that:

  • Afk, Countryfilter, Censorurt, Poweradminurt, Spree, Xlrstats are now built in plugin, so they are being loaded from b3/plugins instead of b3/extplugins (you can find new configuration files for those plugins in b3/conf but yours will work just fine)
  • The priority attribute in plugin configuration section is deprecated: plugins will figure out priority by themselves.
  • It's always better to put b3 generated log file inside the b3 folder (for example @b3/b3_sr8.log) so if something goes wrong you have a log file to inspect.
  • Customize the bot_name property in 'b3' section so you can easily recognize the B3 instance in the user interface

Can you check for the B3 log file in the B3 directory (right beside the b3_run.exe)?
Can you post a screenshot of the B3 console (open it using the toolbar button if it does not open by itself)?
Can you check your user folder (i.e: C:\Users\Fat_Albert\) and see if there is a folder named BigBrotherBot with a file app.log inside (in case, post it here please)?
