We have our B3 running and it works great for about 24 hours. It appears that it looses connection with the database. I have inspected the db with the MySQL query tool and it is still present. We are running multiple games (CoDx), and each game has its own db. After restarting B3 everything is working again. Has anyone experienced this problem?

Is this a known issue and how would I be able to fix it? Could this be a problem with python MySQL add-on for multiple dbs?

Thx,

That is an old b3 version, try upgrading to the latest PyPi release: http://pypi.python.org/pypi/b3

Yes. I think they recommend 2.6 for the latest version, but the pypi release includes a package for both 2.5 and 2.6. FWIW I am running it on python 2.5.

If you run ubuntu linux, you can launch python 2.5 with python2.5 and python 2.6 with python

The error has been fixed in the latest B3.

Updating to the latest release fixed the problem. We have 5 servers running from different databases on Python 2.5. They ran for the last 3 days with no problem.

Thanks,
