Hey!

I just set up B3 under Ubuntu and everything is working pretty fine besides the fact that the python process takes a huge ammount of cpu time.  The server B3 is hosted also hosts a TS3 server, several mysql databases, some homepages, svn repositories and some other small services. Normally the overall cpu time doesn`t go higher than 3 or 4 %. By the moment i am starting B3 the cpu time raises up to 70% (!!!) and higher.

Anybody made similar experiences with B3 / python / Ubuntu? Any ideas what could cause this huge cpu time python takes?

Any help would be nice! Thanks!

First of all make sure you're using the latest B3 package. Then please try disabling all plugins except for admin plugin and run the bot again. See if it makes any difference.

I've been running 4 bots on a Debian box and haven't experienced any high CPU usage issues.

Hm ok I guess this was something complete strange on my vserver. I stopped b3. Disabled all plugins except admin. Started again. Result was a cpu time of about 30%. Better than 70% but still very strange so I completely restarted the vserver. Everything is nice now. Cpu time of about 0.2% is quiet nice. I still don't have a clue why this happened, but it works now... Cheesy

Thanks!
