Hi, pardon my ignorance if this has been brought up a lot before , but I could only find one other thread with a similar problem (SMF's search isn't the best out there). It can be found here: http://www.bigbrotherbot.net/forums/general-usage-support/b3-bot-didnt-want-work/ I've basically got the same problem, I'm on Linux Debian 64, running my own dedi with COD4 and B3 installed on it, the ingame commands does not work, such as !help !iamgod, the ads however work fine. Any ideas?

I should also note I've been through about 3 of these configs, trying different things each time to no avail.

make sure /home/cod4/.callofduty4/main/games_mp.log gets updated live by your game server. Have a look at http://wiki.bigbrotherbot.net/doku.php/usage:game_configuration

Hi, yes that is the problem.. that file is not being written to, nor being created.. can you assist on this?
// Log Settings
set g_logsync "2" // 0=no log, 1=buffered, 2=continuous, 3=append
set logfile "1" // 0 = NO log, 1 = log file enabled
set g_log "games_mp.log" // Name of log file, default is games_mp.log
set sv_log_damage "1"
this is what I have set, and there is no log being done in /home/cod4/.callofduty4/main/games_mp.log

It was a permission problem, I've fixed it now. I couldn't have done it without knowing the root of the problem, so thank you.
