Why B3 use so many outbound connections and how to reduce them?
It uses over 1700 connections to the server PC(so to the machine on what is the urt server started) and all to different ports! My router can't handle that and starts to restart himself after a time..

The timeout for the FTP connection is probably too short for the FTP server you are using.

Try with a more recent (but still beta) version of the bot : http://github.com/courgette/big-brother-bot/downloads

You also want to change your FTP password now that everyone can see it in your b3.log...

After the new B3 worked a while it use just two connections, that's the connection to server so to port 27961 and 21 for ftp.
