Is there any way built in to B3 that would let me dump the existing database? I'm planning to move hosts and they wont give me a DB dump of my B3 setup. Currently running through MySQL.

If there's no way built into B3, how hard would it be to get it? Would it be as simple as replacing the startup python with a mysqldump python code? If thats the case, what's the manner B3 starts? (E.g., when I click Start on the hosts control panel, does it call a specific script that leads to the b3 python code, or would I just replace the default python code on the B3 code with my own? Which is the main, constantly running script, that it will eventually have to get to if they're using a different method to start?)

I have access to the files only. No DB access, no shell, no php, perl or anything beyond the file manager.

Any help would be appreciated,

I would look for http://www.google.fr/search?rlz=1C1GGLS_frFR351FR353&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8&q=python+sock+proxy
and a mysql admin tool like mysql workbench

Never thought of that. Smiley Could just work... Worst case is if I fail miserably, I have an old mysql dump script I used to use in python. Could just recode it to dump the db and upload it to the vps. I like that idea a bit more though then playing with anymore python (more of a php person, but I can do python if need be)
