I was curious about this, I don't know if B3 can be programed to perform a scheduled task?

I want to schedule a pb_sv_restart at a specific time on the server that b3 is running on.

Is this even remotely possible?

We belong to AON anti cheating, and if I could automate the restarts of PB, I could schedule AON to push during the night and auto update and restart pb. Would be amazing.

wouldnt putting in the pbsv.cfg:
Code:
pb_sv_task [waittime] [repeattime] pb_sv_restart
work?

Or ofcourse you could create a plugin that uses the crontab function of the bot to send commands at certain times.

The problem with a task like that is it would not be able to be done at a specific time. It would do it from the time the command is entered, andwhen a server gets restarted it would go all stupid.

What I would do is get multircon http://aluigi.altervista.org/papers.htm#q3 and use cron to schedule a task that would look like this:

multircon -p your_rcon_password -c "pb_sv_restart" <your server's ip> <your server's port>

I would be most happy to do that.

Hope you didn't write it just for me! >.<
