Hi there.

I am part of a clan that has just setup a MW2 dedicated server and we are having a big issue getting b3 to work. It works fine on our COD4 server though.


We have set it up on MW2 and it even shows automated messages in-game, but no commands seem to work at all. We tried !register !iamgod and !b3 among others and nothing happens. at all.

Any clues as to what to do/where to look?

Yes, I can't exactly get to that.

Ok, so I did a FRESH Install of the B3 that needs MYSQL Database only.

*The latest version*

Anyway, I run the setup, it asks me for praser, I type cod6, continuing the setup and eventually its done.

So, I start B3, and on the server, it says B3 Daniel [nt] Online!

However, I type any commands, it dosn't respond.

Thats what appears in the black window that is marked Run B3

Now, in that link you gave me, in my installation, I can't find any praser folder or anything near that.

I ran a search of the pc for cod6.py and cod4.py and ended up with nothing...

The B3.xml is setup correctly.

Now, I have a COD4 B3 running on the same machine, its an outdated version ( v1.2.2b-20100105 ) but it works fine.

So I don't know what to do next...

If you got some kind of working B3 in a ZIP that I can extract and just edit the B3.xml that would be great or any futher instructions!

*Also, the log_sync command is set in the CFG to 2 . I'll try 1 and see what happens!

It looks like an issue with the XLRstats plugin. Could disable it from your main b3.xml to confirm this ?

I've disabled XLRstats, and B3 now works! Amazing!

However, is there a way for XLRstats to work and commands at the same time?

Edit- New Problems Arise

Now, B3 is working, and after a map or so, you seem to be kicked out of the server, and when you try to join, its says Host Can start the game, however, on my REMOTE DESKTOP, it shows the console of mw2 running...

Something to do with B3?

To be honest I have no clue. No B3 dev is running any MW2 server. The B3 bit that rely to MW2 is contributed by the AlterIWnet guys.
