Hi,

Does anyone know if someone has gotten this working successfully on FreeBSD? ..it seems to be acting funny. Everything loads without error and bot goes live... messages are sent to the gameserver and log file is retrieved and appended as it should be, however the bot never parses the file. It makes no reference to players joining or leaving and ignores all commands sent from the gameserver. It receiving the log and knows its specific location, its just not doing anything with it? Any thoughts or suggestions?

OS: FreeBSD 8.0-RELEASE-p2 (i386)
B3: xlr8or's 1.4.2b
Parser: cod7.py

This is a source installation from xlr8or's repo..

The file size is to small. Do you have another rcon tool running so that it's only downloading an error message?

What happens if you shutdown b3 and go direct to the log url?

No there's no other tool accessing the server log. The server isn't populated at the moment though.. the only info coming in from the log is me joining and the few commands i sent it (!iamgod, !rules).. theyre present in the local log file.. just doesnt seem to want to read it... i put the directory tree onto linux without any changes.. and it was parsing the log.. just have an upstream firewall issue... would prefer to run on my bsd box.. so just wondering if there were any known issues, or if someone has some insight..

I still think it's a problem with the games_mp.log, in your log file it nothing in it, the info about you there is just a rcon status.

But I'm not that experienced with B3, maybe another user here knows more about your problem.
