Hi All, I wanted to upgrade to from 1.5 to 1.8.0b
And I updated my python to 2.7.2
System: Debian 5.0
But now this comes: "ImportError: No module named MySQLdb"

But I already used python-mysqldb for 1.5

I tried to upgrade with apt-get "python-mysqldb-dbg" and "python-mysqldb"

But Its already newest version.

So How to get it workin?

If you updated your Python you most likely need to install a different version of python-mysqldb, they are usually version specific (at least for Windows)

That's why I hate Debian:) You probably need to make some symlinks to path where this mysqldb is...

Or maybe have you tried installing mysqldb from sources? This could be better way.

Have you pointed mysqldb to the mysql_config file?
