ive created a server for cod 6 (alteriw) and want to add b3 bot to it. everything went fine but when i run it it says Connection to DB : Failed.

<?xml version='1.0'?>
<!--
This file is generated by the B3 setup Procedure.
If you want to regenerate this file and make sure the format is
correct, you can invoke the setup procedure with the
 command : b3_run -s b3.xml

This is B3 main config file (the one you specify when you run B3 with the
 command : b3_run -c b3.xml)

For any change made in this config file, you have to restart the bot.
Whenever you can specify a file/directory path, the following shortcuts
 can be used :
@b3 : the folder where B3 code is installed in
@conf : the folder containing this config file

First off, you're going to need to disable some of those plugins for MW2, otherwise the server will get flooded with rcon requests and switch itself into a lobby mode that will prevent anyone from connecting. It's a limitation in the MW2 server code.

I would strongly recommend disabling the Welcome, Stats, TK, Spamcontrol and Censor plugin.

That being said, if B3 can't connect to the database, it's very simple:

1. The database username, database name, pw or server/ip is wrong
2. The database doesn't exist.
3. You didn't execute the MySQL query for B3.
4. Your MySQL server is rejecting the connection to the database due to security settings.

If you can post the B3.log file, we can tell you more specifically which one it is.
