I downloaded the B3 standalone 1.2.1 but I just don't seem to be figuring out what else to do to get it working.

After installation there are bunch of files and b3_run. What next? I haven't found a decent guide that would make sense to me. Also I'm totally new to this thing so if anyone wants to help me then patience is required Smiley.

I would like someone to help me step by step to get it working.

Game is CoD 4

you need to have a mysql database and to configure the b3.xml file.

Like above said you need make a database with a user & password and edit your b3.xml file so that it can communicate with that database. And also import the b3.sql file located in the b3 install directory this creates the required tables.

please refer to the mysql documentation for that matter http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.1/en/windows-installation.html
There are also lots of tutorials on how to work with a mysql database on the Internet.
