we are using BlueHost to host our server www.acegaming.net.
we would like to install B3 there. our server offers no support for B3 or Python.
the server does have Python 2.6 already installed but I think 2.7 is needed.

As you can tell, I'm new to this but want to learn.
Can anyone help me find the info I need to get it up and running?

You cannot install b3 on a webhost. Try finding a hoster in the topic under general.

Actually, you can, if you've got a shell access. b3 should work with Python 2.6, but installing 2.7 is a simple procedure (gonna require sudo/root).

but mysql-python already installed with 2.6 to work with python 2.7 took me some time ^^

I don't think that a normal webhoster gives one shell access.

You should be very carefull with the shell access, especially with the root account and apache Smiley

Should have clerified a bit... most web hosts don't give shell access... and if they do, you still need a admin user... I highly doubt the op has that access on a bluehost account. Correct me if I am wrong.
