Hey Folks,

we are moving our current b3 installation to another server and everything worked well .. until now. After migrating the db we recognized that b3 does bild up ids through q3-key + server ip ... which is less good.

So here's the question: Do we have a change to explain b3 to translate all the guids into the new ones (with the changed ip)?

Unfortunately, Urt guid are build of the client qkey and server ip:port
If any of these 3 element changes, then new guid will be built and as far as I know there is no way to convert old guid to new one. You might have a better answer on that last matter on the urbanterror.info forums

Thanks for the fast reply. I will try out my luck at urbanterror.info. Hoepfully there will be a way. Just for thinking logically it has to be possible to calculate all the old guids with the new ip + port.
