Where can I find my rcon IP? I'm sorry for being such a noob, but that's the only setting giving me sh*t anymore.
I tried putting it as the default and also the same as my server IP but neither worked.
Couldn't find it from my rcon tool either.

I'm guessing I'm just not so 1337 and the answer is so simple that I don't get it -_-

I did use search, and nobody has been noob enough to have this problem Tongue

Hope someone can help meh.

Guessing that its Black Ops, then your rcon IP is the same as your server IP and rcon port is your server port.

You can't use the win standalone for Black Ops, the COD7 parser isn't included in it.

You can set up a full version using Python 2.7, setuptools & mysqlPython following the steps in http://wiki.bigbrotherbot.net/doku.php/installation:start or wait until the 1.4.2 is released which will include Black ops support.

These are link sto the files you will need:

http://www.python.org/download/ Python 2.7.1 Windows Installer

http://pypi.python.org/pypi/setuptools/0.6c11#downloads setuptools-0.6c11.win32-py2.7.exe

http://www.codegood.com/archives/129 MySQL-python-1.2.3.win32-py2.7.exe

and the beta with win 7 support can be found here:

Maybe I'll just wait for the update as none of my python files, except setup.py, sun correctly.
They just start up for a sec and close immediately...
I'm pretty sure I did everything I had to but the install instructions didn't say anything about how to use python or setuptools.

Thanks anyway.

The b3 windows package has no cod7 support, so you need to get a bleeding edge source package.

By the way, the 'getaddrinfo failed' means that b3 is unable to resolve the hostname: the address of your server is incorrect, or a firewall blocks b3.

B3 uses which port? I have a few bots with firewall on, no issues... I have 80, 8080, 21, and 3389 open...

b3 does not open ports, it does open connections to the server. You need to be sure the outgoing traffic to your game server (and the rconport / game port) is not blocked.

Ah, most firewalls block inbound and not outbound.  I thought u were saying there needed to be a inbound port open...
