is the cod4 server on your computer as well? You have a rcon error....
I would change your IP setting in the b3.xml to match the external IP.

You need to change the IP info in the b3.xml from 127.0.0.1 to the IP of the server. You need to change BOTH places where is has this - the server ip and the rcon ip.

Maybe u can tell what is wrong, this is the b3.xml

Quote
<configuration>
<!--
If you want to generate a new config file and make sure the format is
correct, you can invoke the setup procedure with the
 command : b3_run -s b3.xml

This is B3 main config file (the one you specify when you run B3 with the
 command : b3_run -c b3.xml)

For any change made in this config file, you have to restart the bot.
Whenever you can specify a file/directory path, the following shortcuts

@conf : the folder containing this config file

The only thing I can see (or think of) is that the gameserver is not writing to the log file, at least not right away.

Several tests:

1)  delete the gamelog and restart the server. Does the gamelog re-appear?
2) Check the log sync is set to 2
3) You might be running a mod? Ask if the mod has no log/different log issues at the mod site.

I think what Mordy meant is this: Is B3 and the game server on the same physical box? Are you running B3 from home and you're connecting to your game server, which is hosted elsewhere?

Not what I am asking.

The gameserver is in another place, that much he said. B3 is probably on his home pc.

What I am trying to establish is if the game is writing to the gamelog in real time.

If his B3 isn't on the same physical server as the COD 4 server, then that's the problem because he's not using an FTP path to the log. He's using a regular path:

Code:
<set name="game_log">C:\UserFiles\SirRobin\GameServers\TC88740564833413811544564\mods\tactical\games_mp.log</set>

To the OP, if the B3 and COD 4 server are being run in seperate locations, you need to set up an FTP path in the game_log section of the b3.xml, such as:

Code:
ftp://ftpuser:ftppassword@208.122.52.181/mods/tactical/games_mp.log
