Updating old plugins
« on: January 30, 2015, 05:50:33 PM »
Hey all,
i have worked a bit on an old plugin (;down=48)

Since this plugin is no longer updated I was wondering if its possible that my update gets merged to the download section - at some point.

If this is possible, are there any processes that need to be followed?

Here is the discussion topic for this plugin, including a link to my forked version:

I could just add a new download ofc, but afterwards the plugin would pop up twice in the download section...

IF I (should) add a new download can I update it later myself?

unless you have written authorization from the original plugin author you will have to submit it as a new download. Maybe alter a bit the name so people won't be confused
