0.4.3 released. Remove the '#test' tag that was added to all ban reasons while sync

There is no permanent ban on metabans.com. What do you think should be the appropriate duration of a B3 permanent ban sent to metabans ? What about 1 year ?

Metabans kicks "on-join" players with expired tempban.

Our server temporarily bans 2 minutes for bad language.  Once the 2 minute tempban expires, and the player tries to rejoin, Metabans continues to kick the player.

Note:
 a. Metabans.com reports that the ban has expired.
 b. Tempbans, according to B3, are given a status of Banned on Metabans.com.
 c. On-join a Message is broadcast that the player is banned via metabans
 d. B3 reports (using Echelon) that the player has been kicked
 e. metabans.com/EN19MA
 f. We are using Metabans version 0.4.3.
 g. B3 version 1.7

Regards

thanks for the log, but unfortunately it does have enough details. Whenever you have an weird behavior from B3 and want to understand what's going on, you have to lower the B3 loglevel down to 9 (or even 8). if the log level is higher, then it won't be useful to us.

Anyway, I've been investigating and found out the issue. This is fixed in the B3 Metabans plugin v0.5.

Also 0.5 fix an issue with ban duration. In v0.4.x B3 ban durations (which are in minute) were not converted to seconds before being sent to metabans (as metabans expects). As a result, If you previously sent a B3 ban of 2 minutes, then metabans would receive a ban of 2 seconds only.

To fix that, just use the !metabanssync command again and all active bans will be sent again, but with proper duration this time.

Here's my b3.log -> http://pastebin.com/CnuaTvtk
It's not working, because of some missing module?

The other plugins are just loading fine.

In the extplugins folder there's conf and metabans (http://img.lostom.com/ftsum.png )

unfortunately this plugin is using a python module that was not included in the windows distribution of B3 1.6.1

Until next B3 version, you have to install B3 from sources for this plugin to work

Having my butt handed to me trying to get this installed.

B3.log attached.

Yes, I have the metabans folder in the extplugins folder and the plugin_metabans.xml in the extplugins/conf folder.

I also have the line from the readme (copy and paste) in the b3.xml

reinstall B3 1.6.1. You are missing some functions that were released with B3 1.6.1

Will do, but can you explain what files are missing so I can check my master copy?

EDIT: Sorted. I suspect the user had replaced the init file in the extplugins folder with the one in the metaban folder since a new install fixed it (and I found the rest of the files in that that folder as well).
