The successes you are reporting, is that with the new version of the plugin and the 1.4.1b?

Unless Courgette made it so changeteam and such work with 1.4.0. When I tested and made that sucess post, I was using the 1.4.1b.

After running it for over a day a few things were noticed with teambalance.
When the round ends and the the new one starts the teambalance puts out so error.
The !teams works randomly (i was not able to grab a error for this).
I might just switch over to the beta 1.4.1 and dump the windows ver. of 1.4.0

Poweradmin  V0.6 and B3 1.4.0

Partial log entry added(for the error of teambalance at start of round)

I don't like this idea because of two points :
 * this plugin is still beta and even if the teambalancer seems to do its job I'm sure we'll hear some bug report soon about weird cases where it fails
 * DICE has announced a native team balancer. I hope they get it fixed and that the B3 team balancer isn't needed anymore

Yeah, my job says that all the time. "We're not getting you 'X' because 'Y' is supposed to happen and that will take care of 'X'." Of course the time frame for 'Y' is never quite certain.

Dice buys their calendars from the same place Valve does.

I made lots of fixes to the moh parser in b3 1.4.1b, one of them is related to the player.onTeamChange which obviously has an impact on the teambalancing feature of poweradminmoh.

Could you guys all switch to B3 v1.4.1b for now on ? I also need confirmation that the moh parsers still work good in v1.4.1b (B3 1.4.1b is a major rewrite that affects both moh and bfbc2 parsers)

For those who are using the windows version, I would advise you to make an installation of B3

http://pastebin.com/qhCbVnJr - log
big log file, i played for a bit hoping you would get enough data.

!restartrnd worked
!nextrnd worked
!match worked

!teams worked the first time i used it, then it wouldn't respond anytime i used it thereafter.

Also noticed autobalance worked once or twice in the beginning, but I think that stopped working as well, I know it had a few chances of over 1 minute to autobalance.

Thanks a lot. This big fat log is very useful.

About your teambalancing issue, it was because the match mode disabled it.
After you entered '!match on', remember to '!teambalance on' to reenable it.

As for the !teams commands, I will make it works even if the auto  teambalancer is off

nothing new on poweradminmoh yet, but an update for B3 1.4.1b
Download :
 windows installer
 moh.py v0.9

This update make sure tempbanned and banned people get kicked if they manage to reconnect to the server. Apparently there is something not working well with MoH and the native MoH banlist is not being enforced correctly

Ok, sorry about the late reply but i was having cpu issues.

Anyway,
!teams= only works when teams are balanced
I have my offset set to 2 so when we get unbalanced autobalance only works when there is a 3 offset. Weird ???

i'm upping a log with unbalanced teams, where i issued the !teams command with no results.

Running latest b3 (from post above) and last poweradmin plugin

This is expected. The 'maxDifference' setting is understood as "max offset tolerated"

I'm assuming 'moh.py v0.9' just gets placed in 'extplugins' folder and the bot will find it automatically? Or we need to install update AND copy moh.py into the folder?

moh.py is not a plugin, it is a parser. A parser is a part of the B3 core which enables B3 to communicate with a given game.

Putting this file in the extplugins folder will not work.

If you have installed B3 from source files, then you can replace the moh.py file that is located in the b3/parsers folder.
If you have installed B3 for Windows, then you need to wait for a dev to package a release which includes this update.
You can find the dev releases I packages here, just keep in mind that this is very recent code that can be unstable

I hope this clarifies things.

plugin poweradminmoh v0.7 released for test. See first post.

Could you please focus your tests on the new !swap command and also make sure the autobalancing does not suffer any regression. also the !teams command should now work even if the autobalancer is off.

http://pastebin.com/Qkwnvkfm - log (didn't test !match, server was full)

!swap works beautifully
!changteam still works good
!teams worked with autobalance off (any opinions about possibly adding a short countdown for !teams balance (or autobalance), or even a global message to the server of the players being balanced?)

Also thought of another command idea. Its not really an idea actually, it's a command for the game, but sucks to use in its current state. The game has a spectator mode, but its not simple to use. Just wondering if the bot could make it easier in any way.
