In regards to "<set name="treshold">10</set>", how is this calculated? For example, it is 10 headshots in a row? 10 headshots in X number of seconds? 10 headshots in the whole round?

@Platanos: That's a minor bug in B3 that should be fixed in the next version.

@GrossKopf: Yep, MordyT is right. That's 10 headshot kills in a row. The suspected player may be killed let's say after 3 headshot kills but his headshot streak will not be reset until he gets a kill with a different bodypart.

This is a good idea, but it wouldn't be completely practical to have on a server, IMO. There are a considerable amount of times when players can get lucky and get a large number of headshots in a game.

Would it be possible to detect how fast one players crosshairs goes from one player to another? With aimbots, there are no "paths" the mouse moves through, it's an instantaneous jump from one target to another. Is it possible to detect instant mouse movement along with kills like this?

Hi merrell, yes that's possible. People can be very lucky sometimes to get headshots in a row. But if you increase the treshold to let's say 10 or 15 you'd considerably reduce the risk.

Even in that case you don't have to label the player "aimbot hacker" and kick/ban, but set the plugin to notify online admins only. So your admins can spectate and decide themselves if the suspected player is using an aimbot or not.

This plugin doesn't claim to be a solid aimbot detection tool, it's just meant to help admins detect aimbot hackers much more easily.

As to your question about detecting the mouse movements, no this is not possible. This is something game devs should be doing together with VAC or PB I believe.

Awesome!!! We really needed something like this.

Is it possible to have the plugin perform two actions instead of one?
Like send the warning message to all admins at 5 Headshots but ban the player after 10.

Seems to work on a 1.4.2 with the same version. Any thoughts?

hello, would be possible add to this plugin the option to search the hack spam message? (many cheaters are so idiot that do not deactivate them) I have recorded  2 or 3 of these messages

at first  I thought to do it with the censor plugin but  I do not know if is thought for this job

with this add and combining this plugin with puddi we could have the perfect anticheat for MW2 ;D

Greetings

the censor plugin seems a good candidate for that. could send a b3.log showing those messages ?
