Several things..

1) are you using the windows installer/zip?
2) What is the error you are facing?
3) Where is the FULL log?

hey.
Im running the Bleeding Edge Source Code Package (no installer)
I dont get any errors but it doesnt show up in game when i connect. For me nor any one else.
I just copied the section related to that plugin would you like it all?

Doesnt work for other people no
And where would this costume greeting be located if i did. Im pretty sure i dont. Not that ive set any way. I read on the log something about the admin plugin was using a greeting?.

Well, you have typed !greeting before... so....

The greeting is stored in the datbase.

I have no ideas why it is not working, maybe someone else has...

OK thank for your time man. Last thing i type !whereis (name) and it says player connect (name) location (reserved). any reason on this. and i typed a greeting message for me in the database should i remove it?

Yes, you should remove the one from the database if you added it through the database for testing porpouses.

Also, the bot needs to be running for at least a hour before it starts welcoming people...

Okay thanks for the help. so should i leave it running and see what happens? Ive just installed simplejson for python. But is that needed for it to work?.
