Hey guys, I'm fairly knew to (ALTERIWNET)  MW2 and B3, but I've recently purchased a Dedicated server, in which they set up B3 for me. I've already found one plugin (atleradmin) that let me change the gravity, which was SWEEEETTT, but I was wondering if there are any like super-admin plugins, that allowed the admins all power, such as:

The power to:
-Teamswitch other players
-Change models/figures
-Have god-mode
-etc.

And others along the lines of that.

As I've said before, I'm new to the whole B3 stuff, so I apologize if this is in the wrong section and what not, but I've been looking for a while now, and can't find anything. Thank you for reading this!

B3 plugins can't add features to the game.
Does your server have some way of offering these feature, maybe through a rcon command? if so, then you would need someone to code a B3 plugin to execute these commands...

Alteradmin allowed me to change the gravity and teamswitch people, and explode them, I just had to add lines in _rank.gsc, which I'm willing to do with any other plugin/mod.

I just want admins/superadmins (configurable) to be able to maybe have god-mode, or be able to fly, not as a "cheat" but to allow the admin/superadmin special rights/privileges.

Oh it would also be nice if they (superadmins/admins) could use the features as in the CoD2 B3. I found a list of commands here: http://warriornation.net/Forum/showthread.php?t=555713 (Sorry if I'm not allowed to post links, and, if this is the case, could someone please remove it).

Basically I want to be able to use the paburn and such commands, and if possible maybe have select groups be able to have an announcement pop up on everyones screen.

Well as far as paburn, etc for cod2, use poweradmin for cod2.

As for your other requests, you need the mod side to be completed (meaning the gameserver needs to have these abilitys) and then come looking for a b3 plugin.

I'm new to all of the b3 commands and stuff, but I found alteradmin plugin for CoD6 and all I had to do was add lines in the _rank.gsc, which I'm willing to do, but can't find any cool ones that I could use.

Oh and yea, I'm running CoD6 Modern Warfare 2, not CoD2, but thanks Smiley

What i am saying is, giving you lines to add to your _rank.gsc is a COD mod, not a B3 mod. We don't have any lines to give you...

Oh snap, I'm sorry, that was mean't to be CoD4, that was my bad. And as for the adding lines is a CoD mod, my apologies, I am completely unaware of that lol, as I said, I'm new.

Now for a totally off-topic question: Who do I consult with helping me set up Echelon for my server?

Well, sir, as I previously mentioned; I'm new to b3, and hell, I'm new to MW2 too... I didn't expect you to [****]ing spoon feed but it seems like you ARE being an asshole, which is completely unnecessary. Now on a brighter note, THANK YOU for clarifying the difference between the two, however, [****] you for your attitude towards new members, how the hell do you expect people to learn if no one is there to teach them, asshole.

Hi there, new guy.

It seems you've mistaken Mordy's demeanor. But you're not really accepting the fact you are new, and therefor don't know what to ask.

The alteradmin plugin is equipped with a command in which you can send any rcon command. The problem is you're using a host who obviously doesn't know what his/her customers want. The alteradmin plugin is available in the "add-ons" section of the Dedicated servers forum. The command (once you have the alteradmin plugin installed) is !rcon >command<.

In game you would enter a command using the standard aIW console commands, I will use an example command:

!rcon set sv_hostname THIS IS MY SERVER
Or perhaps
!rcon set sv_maxclients 10
Or again
!rcon set g_gametype war (Team Deathmatch)

I assure you that b3 is the most versatile server control you can find. Since Infinity Ward used pretty much the exact same engines and coding for Modern Warfare 2 as used in Modern Warfare, pretty much any plugin available for CoD4 can be tailored to CoD6, and conveniently enough b3 has already been coded for CoD6, as well as most of the plugins.

As far as Echelon is concerned, you will need a webfront to display the php style interface that Echelon uses. Since you're using a remote host, you would need to ask your host for a webfront you can access with Echelon installed and queued to your server/b3. If your host already has a webfront for things like XLRstats, then Echelon wouldn't be a problem. Again, since you're using a host, in stead of doing this all yourself as I have, you're really limited to what your host offers and what you're willing to pay for.

Mordy has earned his Hero status in my book, and has even saved me once. Be more like a grain of salt, because in the greater scope, we all are as such.

Vapor21 - I think you may have mistaken my "tone". It is hard to convey a tone in a online forum at times.

I was once new to b3 just as you were. And similarly I asked a topic on how to set up B3 the way I wanted it. I didn't want to read, learn, or anything, just wanted it to work. And I was told by xlr a very similar idea. So finally I said to myself, "alright, I fi I want this tool working, then I guess I will have to do some work" So i sat down with the documentation and I read. If I had a question, I asked.

The Echelon webinterface has some documentation on how to set it up. It is all in the readme file when you download it. I can briefly sum it up for you: Upload the files to your webspace, edit the inc_connections.php to point to your b3 and echelon databases. I have also quoted the readme below in case your download of echelon did not include it.

I may be a a-hole, it may be my attitude, that's a opinion and everyone is entitled to them. Believe it or not I was trying to help. However, telling you something that has already been typed (in much greater detail), is to me, a waste. That is just my opinion.

Code:
##################################################################
#
# Echelon
# Web investigation tool for B3 (www.bigbrotherbot.com)
# (c) 2004, 2005 www.xlr8or.com (mailto:xlr8or@xlr8or.com)

##################################################################

Echelon for B3
##################################################################
This tool is to investigate your playercrowd and see their B3
history. See an overview of their warnings, kicks and (temp)bans.
Also see which admin is kicking and banning ppl and their reasons
for doing so.

Requirements:
##################################################################

- Website running php.
- website must have access to your B3 database.
- website must have rcon access to your game.

Installation:
##################################################################

1. Extract this package into the root of your website! It will
create a directory called echelon and a dir called sql.

2. Create a MySQL database called echelon and a user (echelon)
with a password (echelonb3) that has access from localhost (if
your mysql is running on the same machine as your webserver) to
this database. (Don't forget to flush the privileges)

3. Execute the echelon.sql script inside the directory 'sql' on
the echelon database. This will create two tables and a few
records.

4. Open 'Connections/inc_config.php' with your teksteditor and
make sure the username and password for the b3 database(s) are set
correctly.
MultiDB support requires some handywork... editing inc_config.php
correctly is very important. This config supplies you with a sample
for 3 db's.

5. If your game has PunkBuster support, Echelon has the ability to
write to the pbbans.dat file for instant banning and unbanning of
clients. This info can be set per server in b3connect.php.

6. ONLY IF YOU HAVE CHOSEN A DIFFERENT USERNAME AND/OR PASS UNDER
POINT 2.: Open wwwvalidate.php with notepad and modify this
connection so the username and pass match.

7. Point your browser to http://<yourwebsite>/echelon/index.php
(or whatever the installation path is) and log in with
'admin' and 'admin', change the password for this user, and have
a bunch of fun!

8. You can modify the look and feel of Echelon by modifying the
css file called default.css inside the css-folder. A few examples
are included in that directory.

Upgrade Note:
##################################################################
This version of Echelon works with B3 v1.1.0+ If you're still using
B3 v1.0.0 you should use the database update as described below:

- Columns were added to the tables clients and penalties.
To add these to your existing database, execute the following
MySQL script on your database:
ALTER TABLE clients ADD password VARCHAR(32),
    ADD login VARCHAR(16);
  ALTER TABLE penalties ADD data VARCHAR(255);

As much as I appreciate you pointing that out, I don't give a shit, usually users join a forum to acquire help, not to be harassed and told they're noobs ( not that this was specifically said ).
