hello all! how are you?
today, while I was searching for a solution, I find out this post: http://forum.bigbrotherbot.net/general-usage-support/!xlrtopstats-and-!admins-has-adv/

I need to let @admins advice in plugin_adv configuration file works but not alone, in a single line:

I don't need that:
Quote
<ad>@admins</ad>
but I need that:
Quote
<ad>[text] @admins [text]</ad>

how can I do for it works?  Tongue

thank you, have a good day!

The adv plugin will display the admins message as the admin plugin would do when using the !admins command.

If you want to customize the message then see the admin plugin config file :
Quote from: plugin_admin.xml
<set name="admins">^7Admins online: %s</set>

ehm, it is okay, but I would wait something like:

Quote
b3: admins on-line: [admin names] is\are watching this game server!

but I get:

Quote
b3: @admins is\are watching this game server!

why that? have you explained me yet?  Grin

okay! still a fussy thing: when someone type in chat !admins command, he will see:

Quote
^7Admins online: %s  is\are watching this game server!

and not the default:

Quote
^7Admins online: %s

cannot fix that small particular? thank you!

I think you can have it one way or the other.

The !admins and @admins are the same command, except one small thing... the ! is private (pm) and the @ is public (like console messages). So you can't do @admins and !admins and expect 2 different messages.

OKay! Well, but I expect two different things by a command and a plugin.

I mean, !admins and @admins commands return the same, but "@admins" command in the advices plugin return another message. I ask if that is possible.

thank you for your support, have a nice day!  Smiley
