Hi there Smiley

as the title says, quick question: Is it possible to exclude admins from being tempbanned from his own server because of TK? We had that problem last night, I wonder why this happened. I read, that b3 will never kick oder ban admins.

My approch was to modify the modifiers for Level 40 (i presume, that all levels above are handeled like Level 40 then) in plugin_tk.xml and set ban_length to 0. Didn't help, because the admin was tempbanned.

B3 won't punish a superadmin... admins are not immune. As for your question, I don't know, maybe someone else does.

Was that tempban triggered by B3?
As far as i know you get automatically tempbanned by the server itself in Black Ops HC.
B3 has nothing to do with this i believe, all you can do is reduce the tempban time in steam rcon tool to 0. Then you can reconnect directly. No chance to avoid the kick though.
One of those Treyarch "features".

Please post a log showing the superadmin getting kicked.

(If using Host4B3, logs can be found when connecting to the FTP in the "logs" folder.)

I roamed the log, no info found. Sorry fellas, false alarm. I'll read the log next time BEFORE posting things like that  Angry

Is there any notification in the game log for such bans from the game server ? If so, maybe B3 could automatically unban the superadmin if it can recognize such a situation

Should be. Needless to say, it doesn't prevent it (and can't)...
Also, since it is a tempban enforced by the gameserver, how could B3 unban?

Really? Hmm, I always thought that tempbans had to wait until the server was restarted (tb are stored in memory I thought) or they expired.

I could be wrong, been a while since I ran anything other then 2 cod4 servers...
