Well, you could use echelon and then check the IP, but no other plugins like geowelcome as far as I know.

country filter is more for kicking out people by ... well.. country. I don't use it so I can't say for sure, but I don't think it does what he wants.

Yes, country filter displays only country not the city. You can use it just to display connecting player's country. Filtering is not mandatory.

Hey i just recently got the b3 to work the commads work but it wont welcome players at all i m running it on my cod4 server i hosted through lan and got the b3 to work through wamp every time i install an external plugin it wont work but without external plugins it works any suggestions? You cannot use the geowelcome plugin with the windows version of b3.

is there anyway one of you guys could update this plugin to include the new API ? The one the plugin is using now is v2, i've seen they have v3 now when i signed up for my own api key. Its more accurate. I'm not a coder, i tired to make the plugin use the new api but i fail. I can't get it to show my location in game. With v2 it works fine but it's not very accurate at times. right now the goeip lookup urs is ' http://api.ipinfodb.com/v2/ip_query.php?key=%(key)s&ip=%(ip)s&timezone=false&output=json' that's the old v2 api i tried changing it to ' http://api.ipinfodb.com/v3/ip-city/ip_query.php?key=%(key)s&ip=%(ip)s&timezone=false&output=json' but with this format i can't get the plugin to show anything, it's says cannot found client location. When you run that shortcut with my api key and ip address in a web browser it shows me the correct data. It just seems like the plugin is unable to read and process the output. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks mrp |
