When you click the 'Retrieve Table Data' button what happens?

If it is displaying "No tables could be retrieved from the database" confirm your mysql credentials are correct and the account has access to the information_schema database.

It says that I am connected to the database then brings up a box that says "No tables could be retrieved from the database"  I have the correct user name and password as well as the locations of the database.

Does the account you are using have access to the information_schema  database? it needs read only access to it.

Yeah the tool relies on access to the information_schema which isn't the best method but I created the tool to make my job easier. It's not going to work for all but I've received some good feedback from some that it does work for.

If in the future when I have time I will port it to a better method that doesn't rely on access to that database.

Yeah I can get into the database with Navicat but I dont want to pay for it when I dont use it all that much.  This tool would be great if I could get logged in
