Okay... I have noticed that the bot seems to get stupid after a while if it isn't restarted frequently.

Anyone else have this happen?

Example:
I jump into my FFA server and a map comes on I like (Riyadh) and I type "!mooon on" and it does nothing and the more I try the more it does nothing. I have to resart it and wait until it get's happy again for the commands to work. At the same time I notice that the headshot counters and other stats printing out are way behind what is actually going on.

Today... I have a person get into my CTF server while his GUID was on the GUID banlist powered by the Banlist Plugin. His GUIID hadn't changed and the bot was running. I had not restarted that Bot in about a week because the CTF bot doesn't get as stupid as the FFA bot at the same rate for some reason.

Maybe it is an amount of traffic issue? Maybe it is the size of the log issue? Well.... it couldn't have been that on the CTF server since I had just cleared the CTF log about an hour before this happened.

Any suggestions?

You need to send a log of these happening.

I had similar issues while using cron script to rotate games.log. Maybe you use something like that?
However still provide some logs.

Of it starting and working, and then not working... whatever is in there so the devs can see whats up.

I had similar issues while using cron script to rotate games.log. Maybe you use something like that?
However still provide some logs.

No cron scripts... the logs roll on their own with whatever setting B# already has in it. It keeps b3.log through b3.log.5

and once again... provide a log of what?.... you cannot see that the bot is behind in the log and there is no logged event of nothing happening and no logged event of b3 not enforcing the ban frpom the banlist plugin.

The logs roll so quickly I do not have the log of the last restart leading all the way up to the time when the banlist plugin ceased to function. Also since they roll so fast I also have no event showing the banned person connecting anymore. All I have are logs of normal stuff

See.... the bot always appears to be working... it displays the messages I have set to display every minute or so and it displays other information like headshots and the like but periodicaly it gets behind and eventually I have to break down and restart it. It is not showing that there is a malfunction but the times can either be short or more than a week before it happens and by that time there is no log of it starting and contimuing all the way up to the point of it getting tired

do I need to change the log level to something that will make it keep all the info?

correct but it doesn't happen right away.... it takes days (most of the time) before that starts happening.

it happens on my FFA server more since the traffic is heavier or the action is more... idunno

As a test, maybe run the bot with only 1 plugin (the admin) and see if it still happens.

welll I would really need to use just the banlist rather than the admin since the cheaters are more important to keep out over the period of time this may take.

Well, the bot won't start without admin plugin, but try with both then...

as well as my addon plugins?
