Can you be a little more specific in what you did for future reference?

The post by jonass worked for me also. xlr - he re-ran the actual mysql configuration wizard and went throught it and deselected strict mode where it gives you that option.

Ah okay.

Should be able to do it in my.ini, my.cnf
look for:
Code: [Select]
# Set the SQL mode to strict
sql-mode="STRICT_TRANS_TABLES,NO_AUTO_CREATE_USER,NO_ENGINE_SUBSTITUTION"
Replace with:
Code: [Select]
# Set the SQL mode to strict
sql-mode="NO_AUTO_CREATE_USER,NO_ENGINE_SUBSTITUTION"

or through phpMyAdmin
Code: [Select]
SET @@global.sql_mode= '';

Hello, to start thank you for plugin it is functioned very well just for a thing it is the goal of my message :)
As I look in my file log of b3 I see the hits.
Code: [Select]

080707 14:41:33 CONSOLE 14:32 Hit: 3 4 1 5: DarkNephilim hit Sexxpanther in the Helmet
080707 14:41:34 CONSOLE 14:32 Hit: 3 4 3 5: DarkNephilim hit Sexxpanther in the Kevlar
080707 14:41:34 CONSOLE 14:32 Hit: 4 3 3 5: Sexxpanther hit DarkNephilim in the Kevlar
080707 14:41:34 CONSOLE 14:33 Hit: 3 4 4 5: DarkNephilim hit Sexxpanther in the Arms

but on echelon I of not displayed in Bodypart it is not the hits is always No information available in Kill line... which is indicated.
What do I have to configure to display the hits?

hey guys, i asked here in forums for a chatlog plugin.
background is, that on banning events or in some players fighting its allways hard to find out what really happened.

courgette was so nice to make my wet admin dreams come true, we have a table with datetime, player id, name, message type and message.
its here: http://www.bigbrotherbot.com/forums/index.php?topic=423.0
now me and my friend from my server thought: hmhm, better authenticate users before they can see it, sure, cause of privacy reasons.
first we thougt that authenticate it with phpbb might be the best. but then: ding! we had THE idea: echelon.
what about beeing able to klick on some event and see the chat like 10 mins around some happenig? great? yes.

now my php-knowing friend wanted to start coding it yesterday, i thought i leave a little contact (icq 24997711) here so we can implement it nice and prevent double work. i think if u need it inside, the chatlog plugin shoud come along with echelon integrated or we should have at least some check wether chatlog table exists.

whatever, have a nice time, gg hehe.

 :) ;) :D ;D :o 8) ??? ::) :-X :-\ :-*

@wurst: If you check the chalogger plugin post, you will find a link to the development version of echelon that already provides a basic chat log viewer.

I noticed a couple of things in the latest release from 1st page:

1. multidb configuration file is missing
Code: [Select]
//Number of server databases
$numservers = 2;

since it is missing the navigation is not showing up correctly when using multiple db's

2. the code to generate the navigation pane correctly is not good.
Line 26 reads

Code: [Select]
echo "${gamename[$navcounter]}";
This is not correct since the variable you are looking for is called $gamename_1, $gamename_2, ect in the b3connect.php file

Correct should be:

Code: [Select]
echo ${'gamename_'.$navcounter};

After this all should function properly if you dont make any typos in your configuration file like me ;)

if you are talking of the dev version of echelon, this is not correct as the config file syntax has changed. the b3connect.php.multidb and b3connect.php.single do not exist anymore and are replaced with inc_config.php

I'll edit the post ;)

The packaged version is way behind... it's now pointing to the latest in my repository.

nevermind above post.

i have a general question, i've given users (through echelon) their access levels for the bot.

for some (people i set full admin or senior admin on) when i pull their details up after giving them access, i no longer see all their details, just the @ID# the name the ip and any aliases they've used...

i can no longer alter their access level through echelon and have to do it through phpmyadmin.

check the echelon config.
You have set it so some users are not queried. If i had any time, i'd tell you where it is. It's an easy mistake.
I once did it to level 0s!
