Should this be installed fresh or can a current version be updated?

You can update the existing version, but read the readme.txt carefully! Nothing was changed in the database, but if you run multidb echelon you better compare your b3connect.php thoroughly.

I have a really strange issue with the webpart of Echelon. After i have logged in the webpage "stops" on the http://web.sweswat.net/echelon/login/validate.php page. The default layout is not visible and links for pictures and clients all point towards the "login" directory (example: http://web.sweswat.net/echelon/login/clientdetails.php?game=1&id=14676) which is wrong. When i press the logout text (no button visible) the login page is visible again (without the default style or pictures) and the adress bar reads "http://web.sweswat.net/echelon/login/logout.php" so it doesen't seem to follow through.

I have tried alot of things, among them giving everyone full rights in the echelon directory but sofar all my attempts has been in vain. Really could use some help on this one.

Jonas

Is there any way to get more info from the server? an errorlog or a more detailed error message?

- Is the echelon usertable present in the database? Did you follow all installation steps?
- Could be somethings is going wrong on the sessions, is the session directory for IIS writable (just a wild guess)?

Yes on the first two questions. My guess to that it has to do with the sessions. If I might ask, were is the session directory for IIS?

Session directory is writeable and PHP is installed the right way. Echelon does work, it's just that it stops at the page http://web.sweswat.net/echelon/login/validate.php when you login although it displays the links to the players (clients). But the links are wrong since they point towards clientdetails.php in the directory login. If you press one of the top links, like Clients, everything loads fine including pictures, links etc and one can use Echelon as normal.

Really strange problem, all my other php apps are working as they should.

Tempbanning works like a charm.

I've also done some bugfixing. HTML Translation of special characters in names now is corrected.
It was reported that names with <> in them where interpreted as html code. Fixed now.

See top post for version 1.3.7

Does anyone succeeded in installing multiple instances of echelon on the same webserver ?

The reason is that I share a server with another team and we both need or own echelon.
