Few days ago I noticed a small issue concerning timezones. I have set CEST (GMT+2) timezone at b3.xml and it showing correct time when typing "!time" comand, but... at Echelon I see a time at (for example) 'Last seen' with 2 hours back. There is no timezone variable to set at the Echelon configuration.

//edit:
OK nevermind. Problem solved.

What was it? Webserver related?

well, I think so. In fact wiciu fixed it and said some words concerning time synchronization with UTC. Dunno what it was exactly. I will ask him for details if you like (or maybe he will look at this thread earlier).

i cant get any bans to work, instant or temp :(
I click for either  and my screen reloads and nothing..
is there a permission im missing to execute the command?

Same here. Really strange. Nothing gets written to the B3 database although the user has full rights to it. I install it on another server, exactly the same way and there it works. I have made sure that all my database connections works as they should and i even gave Everyone full access to the Echelon web directory just in case as well as my PHP directory and the session directorys. I have gone through both my servers and i cant find any difference between them although i realise that there must be some. I just can't find it. Running out of ideas.

Windows Server 2003
Both B3 and Echelon DB on localhost
Echelon web on localhost
MySQL 5.0
PHP 5.2.5

Jonas

Do you have more than one server instance running?

I have two, running on same DB on same lan. They share external and internal IP but on different ports (28960/28980). Used to run both servers on a different connection before that was directly connected to the Internet, i.e no firewall and no internal LAN and had no problems. After the move the server has an internal IP of 192.168.0.2 and the problems started.

I've seen this issue happen before when not all instructions in the readme were followed. In particular this issue:
Quote from: readme
Upgrading to version 1.3.5+:
echelon/Connections/b3connect.php.multidb has changed in v1.3.5!
If your echelon is set up to use multidb support you need to replace
your current b3connect.php with the new version included in this
package!
Missing files or having old versions installed can lead to problems. Please check if all requirements in the readme are met, try a fresh echelon install to be sure...

I have the same issue I believe. We have 8 servers instances running (All CoD4) with only 1db for them all. The multiple database is only if you are running different db's for different games correct? It is not for multiple instances of the same game, running on the same instance.

I've put up version 1.3.9 for download.  (See top post)

This version is the one running on my webserver. It's working as it should on my end, please remove your previous versions and install this one from scratch.

If your current version is newer than v1.3.5 you can keep your b3connect.php

That's something related to your environment IMHO, because at mine site it's working fine.

^solved it (at least for my setup). Database, MySQL 5.0, was running in strict mode. Re-ran the configuration wizard in detailed mode and de-selected it.
