Hi there,

we are running B3 and Echelon now for several month and even with some "problems", we got all to work fine.
Since some days now we experience problems with the Echelon login.
As information:
We are running the B3 databases on our root host with the gameservers in germany. (Debian)
Ecehlon is hosted on our webserver in the US. So Echelon is using the db's remotely. This worked fine for all the month.

A few days back it was not possible to login to Echelon. It helped to clear the browser cache or to use a different one.
A few days later same happened again and clearing the cahcce or using a different browser didn't help. Even using a differnet internet connection didn't help.
I made a query with remote admin tools on the mysql db to see the login/password entries. I filtered the query to one specific username and it gave me one row as result. But all fields were emtpy, means they looked like. But as the filter of the query showed one row only, it must have been something in it.

Finally I did a restart of the mysql service on the root host and it started to work again.
Now the problem occurs again.........

All above workarounds stopped working now.

I am a bit lost and have no idea what could cause such a behaviour, so I ask here for assistance.

So, if anybody got an idea what is going, plese let me know.

Thanks in advance!

Days of investigation and no solution. As soon as I post here it comes up, more or less.
IN fact I still have no idea what is causing this behaviour.
BUt another member was able to login and to rest the passwords....
So for now it is working again.

If this happens again, I will post here.

And NO, I didn't forget my password..., in fact I have two users, my own and the admin and both stopped working for some reason.

So far  happy New Year to everybody here.
