init.d script for b3 restart compatible with cod_control
« on: July 14, 2012, 03:53:06 PM »
Hey all,

Thanks to Miramar and Courgette, I've managed to get a nice bot control interface running on my Centos VPS using cod_control.  My question is that I now need to find a way to start my bots from my init.d script so that in the event of a server restart, the bots will all come back up and will be visible to the cod_control panel.

cod_control uses screen PID's to determine if a process is running.  Can anyone point me in the right direction about how I can configure my init.d scripts to restart the bots using the same startup daemon control that cod_control uses?

TIA
Toffees

maybe you could start the bot using the nohup command instead of running it in a screen.
