BAN
« on: October 02, 2013, 10:33:58 AM »
Hi Guys,

One of the leaders banned a player by IP and I cannot unban him.
I have tried !unban @player number but cannot get anything to work. The sad thing is that he should never have been banned in the first place. Can anyone help please?
Thanks

Good question. The player tells me via Skype that he was banned by IP.
I cant find him on Echelon anymore either.

Thanks for the reply.

Do you use any type of rcon tool to change the server files?  If you do he may have been banned using that tool instead of b3.

Yes, I have Rcon which I only use for map change  or in emergency if B3 crashes. Now I have access to the server workings I have not used it. I could check to see if he is traceable there. Thanks for the advice.

It sounds like he may have been banned via PB, try looking in the pbbans.dat file for an entry covering his IP.
